I love these things, and bought another 200 to give as gifts for bug-out bags and travel. At 8” x 9” when expanded, these aren’t very big, but they are handy and are fairly sturdy. Since they are 100% cotton, they are biodegradable, safe for sensitive skin, and could be used to filter dirty water or as fire-starters if needed. The wrapping makes it easy to slip a few into a purse or backpack, keeping them clean and dry, but you have to dispose of the plastic and they do take up more space than those without wrapping.
