flashlight fetish? get this!

this tiny light cap light is fantastic! it charges via USB-C, is super light, and has a strong beam with a nice even spotlight. i haven't run it completely dry yet, but i use it for about an hour at a time with no issues.

excellent for where it is hard to get lighting.

I work as a sous chef in a restaurant and my employer is CHEAP! I can't get him to buy us portable task lighting let alone proper overhead lighting for the hard to see kitchen areas yet the health department requires us to keep the restaurant clean. Ever try to clean a kitchen in the dark?So since we are required to wear hats at all times while in the kitchen and since I wasn't born with three hands and since I can't get the boss to hire extra help to go around holding a flashlight for me while I do my deep cleaning, I ordered this as my solution. This worked beautifully. 1000 lumens is roughly equal to one third of the D.O.T. legal limit for a car headlight, as a comparison. It certainly is enough to light up the area I am working on and is aligned perfectly along my line of sight regardless of where I look. It only added just a little bit of weight to the brim of my cap and stayed on no problem. I spend about two hours a night deep cleaning but only need this kind of lighting for about half that long. I always plug it in the charger when I am done so I have not tested it beyond about an hour. I can say it will last at least that long which works for me. I cannot say what the actual limit is.I also used this for predawn beach combing a couple of times and it did a beautiful job with that as well and again, I had it on for about an hour each time.I highly recommend this for a portable hands free lighting solution for at least an hour.

a bit too sensitive

a handy little light to clip onto a ball cap or to wear on your head with the included stretch band. not a ton of light even on high (i do not htink it is close to 1,000 lumens). it does have enough light that you can see walking around in the dark. i am old and i would definitely need more light if using this to work on something. the motion sensor is a great idea it is just a bit to sensitive. i was using while the power was out and everytime anything passed by my head within 30" or so it would activate. no instructions so the modes are a toss up without any memory. sometimes the red light is on, sometimes not. the entire housing and clip are plastic. not bad for a $13 light

Great product

I bought this for my husband for when he walks our dogs he absolutely LOVES this he don’t have to stop to hit any buttons he can change the light by swiping his hand infront of it. He never walks our dogs without it.This is definitely a great product and the light is very bright

Decent Flashlight

Overall, I’m not very impressed by this flashlight; it’s good, but not great. The only thing holding me back from giving it a better rating is the build quality on it, it’s a cheap plastic that feels rather fragile. That being said, the operation of it is fantastic! With multiple modes, a strobe, SOS, red/white, moonlight, and a red light as well, it does the job for sure. It’ll work great as a headlamp alternative with its hat clip, but I’m worried about the durability of the clip itself. Its small size allows you to slip it in your pocket or EDC bag without taking up too much real estate. The wave feature is also pretty cool, with the initial setting keeping it red when you turn the main LED off is a pretty attractive feature, but there’s no “memory” setting to allow you to hit the button and return to just red or the most recent setting, you have to cycle through all the modes to find the one you want to keep on. I don’t think it’s bright enough to replace my current energizer headlamp for fishing at night or things like that, but it’s definitely a good addition to have for a hiking bag, or for me, I have it in my backpack as sort of an emergency light. Overall, I wish it were metal or at least a stronger, less brittle plastic. I feel like if it gets wet it’ll completely ruin it, so keep that kind of thing in mind, as well! Aside from the build quality, it’s a decently bright light, but doesn’t “wow” me at all. Great little light for the price, and you’re definitely going to get what you pay for with it. I can’t speak to the battery life, but can say it will be a great, lightweight, emergency light to have.
